When I saw Blast in the list of characters I just had to draw him, I love purples and blues and red eyes just sealed the deal for me. I love his metal tail thing they just look so much like pincers to me.

Just based on his design I thought a sort of evil picture would suit him better but looking back he sorta looks cuter than evil. I didn't really have much of an idea for the back ground so I went for a sorta spacey one cause I love space. The textures I used on the rocks were some of the brush textures/forms I had saved to my SAI. As always sorry for the colour distortion, my shading tends to do that OTL.
